Network Emergency definition

Network Emergency means any situation or circumstance which the Station Facility Owner reasonably considers requires immediate or urgent action in order:
Network Emergency means an emergency endangering persons and/ or property and arising from a deviation in gas pressure or gas quality in the network or any part of the network.
Network Emergency means circumstances that in the reasonable opinion of the Network Operator:

  • Where National Grid NTS has assessed that any actions taken by it pursuant to the National Grid Safety Case and any actions taken by Users in response to the notification made under paragraph 5.2.8 have not been or, in National Grid NTS's opinion, would not be sufficient to prevent a breach of a Safety Monitor, National Grid NTS shall liaise with the Network Emergency Coordinator to declare a Network Gas Supply Emergency.

  • In an emergency, the Customer must immediately follow any instructions the Network Emergency Coordinator, Gas Transporter or Supplier gives the Customer to reduce the amount of Gas the Customer takes at any Supply Point or to stop taking Gas completely.

  • The Network Emergency Coordinator, the Gas Transporter or the Supplier will tell the Customer, as soon as possible, when an emergency has begun and when it ends.

Network Emergency means an escape, or suspected escape, of gas or where the circumstances are such that, in our opinion (a) the safety of the Network or any part of the Network is at risk, (b) the safe conveyance of gas by the Network is at risk, or (c) the gas conveyed by the Network is at such a pressure or quality as to constitute, when supplied to premises, a danger to life or property.
Network Emergency which is defined as the failure of a previously operating Phasecom product or system which renders the product or system inoperable. Further defined as any problem causing service unavailability or severe degradation to the lesser of [***] customers or [***] of the installed base.
