National Employment Standards definition

National Employment Standards means the minimum standards set out in Part 2-2 of the Fair Work Act.
National Employment Standards or NES means Part 2-2 of the Act as amended from time to time.
National Employment Standards means the National Employment Standards detailed in Part 2-2 of the Fair Work Act, as varied from time to time.

  • The provisions of clause 19.6 will not apply to an Employee if they refuse an offer of acceptable alternative employment but – for the avoidance of doubt – this does not affect any entitlement of an Employee to redundancy pay under the National Employment Standards.

  • Public holidays will be in accordance with the National Employment Standards.

  • Should any term of this agreement be less favourable to the Employee than the National Employment Standards, the latter will prevail over the term to the extent that the term is less favourable.
