Municipal wastewater means the mixture of domestic, process and other wastewater tributary to any given municipal sanitary sewage or treatment system.

Municipal wastewater means the wastewater of a municipality, including that of the Municipality. From the standpoint of source, it may be a combination of the liquid and water-carried wastes from residential, commercial buildings, industrial plants and institutions, together with any groundwater, surface water, and storm water that may have inadvertently entered the sewerage system of the municipality.
