Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) means a facility listed in 376 Exhibit 9 to which commingled Solid Waste, Organic Waste and Recyclable Materials are brought for 377 separation into marketable Recyclable Materials.
The Contractor shall cooperate with the operator of any Transfer Station, MRF, or Disposal Facility with regard to operations therein, including, for example, complying with directions from the operator to unload Collection vehicles in designated areas, accommodating to maintenance operations and construction of new facilities, cooperating with its Hazardous Waste exclusion program, and so forth.
The City requires that all collected recyclables must be delivered to the Contractor’s MRF in a manner acceptable to Ramsey County.
The Contractor shall not commingle Recyclable Materials Collected pursuant to this Agreement with any other material Collected by the Contractor outside the County Service Area prior to delivery to the Transfer Station, MRF, or Disposal Facility as appropriate, unless the Contractor has provided documentation that is satisfactory to the Contract Administrator explaining how the commingled material will be allocated.
