THIS ASSURANCE is given in consideration of and for the purpose of obtaining any and all federal and state assistance; and THE CONTRACTOR HEREBY GIVES ASSURANCE THAT administrative methods/procedures which have the effect of subjecting individuals to discrimination or defeating the objectives of the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Manual of Policies and Procedures (MPP) Chapter 21, will be prohibited.
Notwithstanding any such review by MPP and Pfizer, Licensee shall remain responsible for ensuring that the terms and conditions of any such agreement(s) with such Affiliate is/are consistent with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and Licensee shall be responsible for any liability arising from any inconsistency.
Upon the execution of this Agreement, subsequently at the time of each of the further triggers stated above requiring increased coverage, Licensee will furnish MPP with certificates of insurance evidencing compliance with all requirements herein.
Licensee will promptly notify MPP of any material modification of the insurance coverages or cancellation notice it receives of any such insurance policies.
Those who initially decline participation have the right to join the MPP at any later date.
