Minimum Support Price definition

Minimum Support Price means a minimum price for a product, decided by the Government with a view to ensuring remunerative prices to the farmers for their produce on the basis of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) recommendations.
Minimum Support Price means the assured price announced by the Central Government at which foodgrains are procured from farmers by the Central Government and the State Governments and their agencies, for the central pool;
Minimum Support Price means the minimum support price fixed by the State Government for purchase of notified agricultural produce (other than the commodities with reference to which minimum support price is fixed by the Government of India) due to fall in market price. While fixing the minimum support price, the State Government may take the following factors into consideration, namely:-

  • Nothing contained in this Article 12 or elsewhere in this Indenture or in the Securities is intended to or shall impair, as among the Company, its creditors other than holders of Senior Debt and the Holders, the right, which is absolute and unconditional, of the Holder of any Security to convert such Security in accordance with Article 4.
