Maximum Import Capacity definition

Maximum Import Capacity means, in respect of a Connection Point (or the Connection Points collectively), the maximum amount of electricity (expressed in kW or kVA) which is permitted by the Company to flow from the Distribution System through the Connection Point (or the Connection Points collectively);
Maximum Import Capacity means the value recorded against Your connection in NIE Networks Maximum Import Capacity Billing & Registration System as the maximum capacity made available for Your connection;
Maximum Import Capacity means the capacity in kVA normally kept available as may be specified by the Electricity Distributor in the relevant SCA;

  • Payments may be subject to reduction if the Customer fails to deliver demand reductions in accordance with the agreement • The minimum demand reduction capacity a Customer can offer is 25% of its Maximum Import Capacity.

  • Where the Autoproducer User's Maximum Import Capacity is greater than or equal to their Maximum Export Capacity then charge (a) will be set to "0" (zero).


More Definitions of Maximum Import Capacity

Maximum Import Capacity means the maximum permissible amount of electricity to be imported from the Transmission System at the Connection Point expressed in kVA as set out in the Connection Agreement or means the maximum permissible amount of electricity to be imported from the Distribution System at a Network Connection Point expressed in kVa as set out in the Distribution Connection Agreement. Where such values require conversion from MW or kW to kVA as appropriate a factor of 0.95 kW/kVA shall be used;
Maximum Import Capacity means: (a) in respect of Section 2A and any Exit Point, the maximum amount of electricity, as agreed with the Company and expressed in kilowatts or kilovoltamperes, which may be imported from the Distribution System via that Exit Point; and (b) in respect of Section 2B and any Bilateral Connection Agreement, the maximum amount of electricity, as set out in that Bilateral Connection Agreement and expressed in kilowatts or kilovoltamperes, which may be imported from the Company’s Distribution System via the Connection Point or defined group of Connection Points to which that Bilateral Connection Agreement relates. Meter Administrator has the meaning given to that term in the Balancing and Settlement Code.
Maximum Import Capacity. (MIC) means the maximum amount of electricity, expressed in kiloVoltAmps (kVA) that will be supplied to You at the point of supply.
Maximum Import Capacity. Means the amount of electricity referred to as being the "Maximum Import Capacity" in relation to each Connection Agreement to which this Agreement relates;
