Maturity Extension definition

Maturity Extension means, with respect to any Collateral Debt Obligation, any exchange that would extend the stated maturity date of such Collateral Debt Obligation.
Maturity Extension means triggering the Maturity Extension by the administrator (§ 30 (2a) of the Pfandbrief Act (Pfandbriefgesetz)), provided that the administrator is convinced at the time of the Maturity Extension that (i) the extension of the maturity date is necessary to avoid the insolvency of the Issuer, (ii) the Issuer is not over indebted, and (iii) there is reason to believe that the Issuer will be able to meet its liabilities then due in any case after expiration of the maximum possible extension period, taking into account further extension possibilities. The Maturity Extension is not at the discretion of the Issuer.
Maturity Extension has the meaning provided in Section 2.4.

Examples of Maturity Extension in a sentence

  • The decision to agree or withhold agreement to any Maturity Extension Request shall be at the sole discretion of each Lender.

  • The amount of principal that will have its maturity extended automatically shall be the entire outstanding principal amount of such Advance on such Maturity Extension Effective Date, less the amount of any payment of principal made on such Maturity Extension Effective Date.

  • The Maturity Extension Election Notice delivered by the Borrower in connection with each such Maturity Extension Election must also specify the particular prepayment/refinancing privilege that the Borrower elects for the respective extended Advance.

More Definitions of Maturity Extension

Maturity Extension means, with respect to any Collateral Debt Obligation, any exchange that would extend the stated maturity date of such Collateral Debt Obligation. For the avoidance of doubt, a waiver, modification, amendment or variance that would extend the stated maturity date of the credit facility of which a Collateral Debt Obligation is part, but would not extend the stated maturity date of the Collateral Debt Obligation held by the Issuer, does not constitute a Maturity Extension.
Maturity Extension means an extension by or on behalf of the Issuer of the Legal Final Maturity Date on or after the Effective Date, that is effected by an amendment to the Underlying Instruments occurring on or after the Effective Date.
