If a KO or Major non-conformity is issued in the Integrity on-site Check, which has to lead to a suspension of the certificate, the following measures have to be taken: If an observer of the certification body has attended the Integrity on-site Check, the certification body is obliged to suspend the certificate within 3 working days after the last Integrity on-site Check day.
Major non-conformity shall be closed within 30 days from the audit and prior to certification/recertification.
If any site has a major non-conformity, Vireo shall not: (i) Issue a certificate to any of the network until satisfactory corrective action is completed (for initial and re-certification only); (ii) exclude a particular site because of a Major non-conformity at that site (in the case of surveillance).
