Maintenance Modification means any modifications or revisions to the Codexis Software and/or Documentation that correct Critical Errors, support new releases to the operating systems with which the Codexis Software is designed to operate, support new input/output devices, or provide other incidental changes, updates and corrections.

Maintenance Modification means any modification(s), revision(s) or addition(s) to the Products necessary to: (i) correct Errors; or (ii) support new releases of the Designated Equipment or subsequent revisions of its operating system; or (iii) update a Product to ensure its continuing compatibility with versions of Cadence's product(s) it is intended to be used with, if any; or (iv) other modification(s) or addition(s) which are not Enhancements. Maintenance Modifications shall include correction to Documentation.

• Software shall include any Maintenance Modification or Enhancement thereto created by VENDOR from time to time during the Warranty Period of this Agreement and/or thereafter during the term of any effective Maintenance Agreement.

More Definitions of Maintenance Modification

Maintenance Modification to an Enhancement Release means a revision or modification thereto which provides Error Correction or which otherwise remedies nonconformities of the Enhancement Releases from its associated Documentation, together with the Documentation related thereto.

Maintenance Modification means a modification, update, or revision by IMPAC generally made available in IMPAC's sole discretion to IMPAC's customers from time to time that corrects errors or responds to routine maintenance or support requirements of Products. Maintenance Modifications may include without limitation modifications, updates, or revisions made to support industry-standard changes in supported operating systems, and to comply with regulatory requirements.

When reporting Errors and requesting Error correction, EarthLink shall specify the severity of impact of the reported Errors upon the functionality of the Deliverable and shall in each such case provide Documentation of a sufficient technical level so that the Error can be reproduced and verified by GoAmerica, and so that GoAmerica can estimate the time and resources required to resolve the Error. If GoAmerica releases to EarthLink a new version of a Deliverable, Maintenance Modification or an enhancement thereto, GoAmerica agrees that such release, Maintenance Modification or enhancement will not (i) require EarthLink to materially alter its operating systems software or hardware platform without prior written approval from EarthLink or (ii) break former versions of client software and/or other dependent systems.

Maintenance Modification. A modification or revision to the Software made by Supplier that (i) corrects an Error, (ii) supports a new release of an operating system designated in the Specification with which the Software is designed to operate; or, (iii) make enhancements or improvements in efficiency or effectiveness, or constitutes any other change made at the option of Supplier for the convenience of Supplier, within existing functions without adding new features.
