Main Meter definition

Main Meter means a meter, which would primarily be used for accounting and billing of electricity;
Main Meter means the main meter used to measure and record energy input at the Delivery Point. MEDA means Maharashtra Energy Development Agency. MERC means Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission, a governing body incorporated under the Electricity Regulatory Commission Act, 1998 and existing under the Electricity Act, 2003. Metering Date means, for a Billing Period, the midnight of the last day of the calendar month.
Main Meter means the primary Meter that the Generator is required to calibrate, install, commission and maintain pursuant to and in accordance with the MOF and the TSRs to measure Metered Volume (excluding, where the Facility is a Dual Scheme Facility, the Imported Input Electricity);

Examples of Main Meter in a sentence

  • If during test, any of the Main Meters is found to be within the permissible limits of error but the corresponding Check Meter is beyond the permissible limit; the energy computation will be as per the Main Meter.

  • If during testing, both the Main and Check Meter are found within the permissible limit of error i.e. 0.2%, the energy computation will be as per the Main Meter.

  • The Main Meter shall be calibrated immediately and the energy for the period thereafter shall be as per the calibrated Main Meter.

  • The Main Meter, Check Meter and additional burdens shall have separately fused VT supplies.

  • Landlord has to provide Main electrical wiring from Main Meter to Main Panel Board.


More Definitions of Main Meter

Main Meter means all meter(s) and metering devices owned by the Company and installed at the Interconnection Point for measuring and recording the delivery and receipt of Energy and other parameters as per Section 7.2.
