Lower-Tier Subcontract definition

Lower-Tier Subcontract means any contract entered into by a lower-tier subcontractor to furnish supplies or services for performance of a subcontract. “Lower-Tier Subcontractor” means any supplier, distributor, vendor, or firm that furnishes supplies or services to or for a Subcontractor or another Lower-Tier Subcontractor.
Lower-Tier Subcontract as used in this clause, means a lower-tier subcontract or contractual action entered into by a Subcontractor or lower-tier Subcontractor for the purpose of obtaining supplies, materials, equipment, or services of any kind under a subcontract.
Lower-Tier Subcontract as used in this clause, means any contract, as defined in FAR Subpart 2.1, entered into by a lower-tier Subcontractor to furnish supplies or services for performance of the subcontract or a lower-tier subcontract. It includes, but is not limited to, purchase orders, and changes and modifications to purchase orders.

  • DEFINITIONS The following terms shall have the meanings set forth below for all purposes of this subcontract.(a) SUBCONTRACT means Contract, Purchase Order, Price Agreement, Lower-Tier Subcontract, Ordering Agreement, or modifications thereof.(b) SUBCONTRACTOR means the person or organization that has entered into thissubcontract to sell something to NTESS.(c) GOVERNMENT means the United States of America and includes the U.S. DOE/NNSA or any duly authorized representative thereof.

Lower-Tier Subcontract means any agreement entered into by the Seller or Seller’s sub-tier supplier(s) in furtherance of the performance of this Purchase Order.
Lower-Tier Subcontract means any contract entered into by SELLER with a subcontractor to furnish supplies or services for performance of this Contract including transfers between divisions, subsidiaries, or affiliates of a contractor or subcontractor.
