Local Vendor definition

Local Vendor means any business which:
Local Vendor means a person or legal entity which has a place of business (other than a post office box) within the City and has a valid, current business license issued by the City. To qualify as a local vendor for the purposes of Section 3.42.230 of this Code, the vendor shall submit with its bid or proposal a completed City-provided affidavit that documents the following: 1) the business has a facility with a City of Elk Grove address, 2) the business has, during at least one (1) year immediately preceding the submission of the bid or proposal, attributed sales tax to the City of Elk Grove, and 3) the business has had a City of Elk Grove business license for at least one (1) year prior to the submission of the bid or proposal. The affidavit can be obtained by accessing the Request for Proposal and Bids section of the City web site, http://www.elkgrovecity.org/community/request-for-proposal.asp.

More Definitions of Local Vendor

Local Vendor means a Vendor for which all of the following criteria apply:
Local Vendor means a firm or individual who regularly maintains a place of business and transacts business in, or maintains an inventory of merchandise for sale in, or is licensed by, or pays business taxes to the County.
Local Vendor means a vendor having an office within the corporate limits of the city or within the water and sewer service area of the city.
Local Vendor means that the vendor meets each of the following requirements. The principal place of business must be with the geographical boundaries of ▇▇▇▇▇ County.
Local Vendor means a vendor that meets each of the following requirements prior to any award of a contract or purchase: (1) the vendor’s principal place of business must be within the geographical boundaries of Glynn County. For purposes of this chapter, the term “principal place of business” means a physical structure, office, or suite, but does not include a post office box, a temporary job site, or project site location; (2) the vendor must have a current occupational tax certificate from Glynn County or the City of Brunswick; and (3) the vendor must have paid all real and personal property taxes owed to Glynn County. Local Vendor means and refer to a supplier or provider of goods, supplies, equipment and/or services that:
Local Vendor means a business entity, including a franchise owned by a Walton County resident, which has maintained its principal place of business within Walton County; or a business entity which has maintained a permanent place or places of business within Walton County and which has employed people who live in Walton County on a regular and continuing basis for at least six (6) months prior to a potential contract being advertised.
