Local Call definition

Local Call means a call that originates and terminates solely within the Bailiwick and does not include calls to or from termination equipment being used for the purpose of roaming on a Licensed Telecommunications Network.
Local Call means a local call as defined in Telstra’s Standard Agreement from time to time. Local Exchange Carrier means the supplier that owns and operates the Access Line. NBN HFC Service means a broadband Internet service which uses the NBN Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial Network (which forms part of the National Broadband Network) to deliver Internet connectivity at the Network Boundary Point at your Premises. NBN FTTC Service means a broadband Internet service which uses the NBN Fibre to the Curb Network (which forms part of the National Broadband Network) to deliver Internet connectivity at the Network Boundary Point at your Premises. On-Net Numbers means numbers that are supplied to iiNet and Westnet customers of our Netphone Service. Optus Cable Network means the Optus hybrid fibre coaxial cable network. Our Network means our Telephony Network.

More Definitions of Local Call

Local Call means a call that originates and terminates within a Local Calling Area and includes a call that originates form and terminates to NXX codes that are associated with exchanges located within the same Local Calling Area without regard to the physical location to the calling/called parties.
Local Call means a telephone call placed from within a particular Service Area to the Destination NPA-NXX designated for that Service Area by MCI that does not result in any toll charges (including message Schedule A to Network Services Agreement A - 1 AOL/MCI Confidential EXECUTION COPY rates, metered rates, intra-LATA toll charges and inter-LATA toll charges) for the caller, except to the extent the caller has agreed to pay message rates or metered rates as part of a local telephone service plan.
Local Call means a call within a local calling area as defined by the undertaking that originates the call. In the case of Eircom, a local call means a call within an NDC geographic area and to locations in adjacent NDC geographic areas between which calls are charged at the local rate, as defined in Section 2.1.1 of the published ‘Eircom Price List 2014’, or any subsequently amended price list;
