Local definition

Local means physically located in the same ILEC Local Exchange Area as defined by the ILEC Local (or “General”) Exchange Tariff on file with the applicable state Commission or regulatory agency; or physically located within neighboring ILEC Local Exchange Areas that are within the same common mandatory local calling area. This includes but is not limited to, mandatory Extended Area Service (EAS), mandatory Extended Local Calling Service (ELCS), or other types of mandatory expanded local calling scopes.

Local means Local 039 of The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees;

Local means of or pertaining to any political subdivision of the state.

• Local Church shall take all steps necessary to close and/or dissolve any legal entities and to settle, liquidate, or transfer all assets and obligations of such entities, or to establish any new legal entities, or to modify its current organizing documents, as needed to effectuate its disaffiliation from The United Methodist Church, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference.

• Should the Local Church fail to satisfy all of its obligations set forth herein by the times prescribed in this agreement, this Disaffiliation Agreement shall be null and void and the Disaffiliation contemplated herein shall be set aside.

Local means that the facility that generates the qualifying electricity for which the bundled renewable energy certificate is issued is located in the United States and within the geographic boundary of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC).
