LMICs definition
LMICs means all low- and middle-income countries according to the World Bank country classification as at the Effective Date.
LMICs or “Low and Middle Income Countries” means the countries identified by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (or “OECD”) as having low-income or middle-income economies, as may be updated from time-to-time by the OECD.
LMICs has the meaning given in Annex A.
More Definitions of LMICs
LMICs or “Low and Middle Income Countries” means the countries identified as such in Part 3 of Annex F.
LMICs shall have the meaning provided in Exhibit B hereto.
LMICs means, for any year, the countries and territories which are included in Annex A to these Conditions.
LMICs means “Low and Middle Income Countries” as defined by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development as may be updated from time-to-time.
LMICs means low and middle income countries and territories as published in the DAC List by OECD from time to time.
LMICs means Low and Middle Income Countries as defined by the OECD DAC list; “MOU” means this Memorandum of Understanding including the Schedules;
LMICs or the “Territory” means those countries defined by the World Bank as having “low-income economies”, “lower middle-incomeeconomies” or “upper middle-income economies”, as may be amended from time to time; “Manufacturer of Record”(if applicable) means the named legal entity legally responsible for placing a Product on the market as recognized by the appropriate in country regulatory authority. For the purposes of this Agreement the Manufacturer of Record shall be the Third Party which is the recipient of theTechnology Transfer. “Priority Countries” shall have the meaning set forth under the Article [●]; “Product” means the XYZ assay for the blood culture system/solution and the materials provided with the Product as explicitly listed in the associated instructions for use, and all subsequent versions, and subsequentassays to be mutually agreed and documented as an amendment to this Agreement; “Private Health Sector” means any non-governmental institute which operates on a for-profit basis but which may have access to preferential access conditions to a Product such as set out under Global Access, and as determined on a case-by-case basis by FIND; “Public Health Sector” or “PHS” means (i) any government in the LMICs, including any government ministry of health, department or agency, or any local or regional governmental body, authority or entity, and (ii) any officially recognized, not-for-profit organization including private not-for-profit organizations, or funds, that pursue activities to relieve suffering, promote the interests of the poor, provide basic social services, or undertake community development, including, but not limited to, the WorldHealth Organization, UNICEF, Save the Children Fund, and Médecins Sans Frontières; “Stringent RegulatoryAuthority” or “SRA” Means that definition given by WHO under the url; https://www.who.int/initiatives/who-listed-authority-reg- authorities/SRAs, as may be updated from time to time; “Technology Transfer”(if applicable) means those activities required to successfully transfer and validate such transfer of required manufacturingprocesses, procedures, and Know-how, to a Manufacturer of Record; “TechnologyLicence” or “Licence”(if applicable) Means the licence to use ABC IP and Know-how required to commercialise a Product, and as further set out under the Article [●]; “Target Product Profile” or “TPP” means that desired ‘profile’ or characteristics of a target product that is aimed at a particular disease or diseas...
