LICENSING AND PERMITS Clause Samples
The 'Licensing and Permits' clause requires one or both parties to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, permits, and approvals needed to legally perform their obligations under the agreement. In practice, this means that if a contractor is hired to perform construction work, they must secure the appropriate building permits and professional licenses before starting the project. This clause ensures that all activities conducted under the contract comply with applicable laws and regulations, thereby reducing the risk of legal penalties or project delays due to non-compliance.
