Any current elected member or employee of the Washington State Legislature participating in this Contract in any capacity, including but not limited to as an employee, director, officer, partner, member of a governing board of the Contractor or a sub-Contractor on this Contract, must submit to WSDOT, the conflict-of-interest decision from the Washington Legislature Ethics Board prior to the Legislator performing any work.
The Contractor must comply with the decision rendered by the Board, and if the Legislator is disqualified or otherwise cannot perform the work based on the Board decision, the Contractor is required to find an alternative acceptable to WSDOT to perform the contemplated work at no additional cost to the state within 30 days of contract acceptance.
