Long Distance Service (LDS) The term "Long Distance Service" denotes the furnishing of station-to-station direct dial interstate and international switched network services to the Customer for the completion of long distance voice and dial up low speed data transmissions over voice grade channel from the Company's Points of Presence to domestic points and international points and Calling Card Services made with the use of a Company issued Calling Card.

In preparing the LDS, Covered Entity or its Business Associate shall include the data fields specified by the parties from time to time, which are the minimum necessary to accomplish the purposes set forth in Section 5 of this Agreement.
LDS allows two (2) shipping days from the termination date for the equipment to be received at the LDS plant.
