LCV means longer combination vehicle, which has the same meaning as prescribed under 23 CFR 658.5. “Long single-trailer combination” means a truck tractor - semitrailer combination or truck tractor - semitrailer - forklift combination exceeding a maximum length limitation provided under R17-6-102, Table 1. A long single-trailer combination has more axles to bridge more weight and may transport a reducible or non-reducible load with an overall gross weight exceeding 80,000 pounds using spread-axle, tridem-axle, or quad-axle group configurations.
