Lapsed definition

Lapsed means the status of a license when the licensee fails to renew the license by July 1 of any year or when the holder of a temporary license fails to appear for an interview at the next board meeting following the date of issuance or fails to submit a written request for extension of a temporary license or when a written request for extension is not approved by the board;
Lapsed means, in the context of a real estate licensee, that the license has not been renewed in a timely manner and is not eligible for renewal.
Lapsed means license is no longer valid because of failure to renew in a timely manner.
