Known Error means an Incident or Problem for which the root cause is known and for which a temporary work-around or a permanent alternative has been identified.

Known Error or "KE" means a Problem that has a documented root cause and a workaround. Known errors are created and managed throughout their lifecycle by Problem Management. Known errors may also be identified by development or suppliers;

Known Error shall have the meaning given to it in section 2.2.11. "Managed Service" means the Services specified in this document. "Problem" shall have the meaning given to it in section 2.2.11.
