Joint Protection Program definition

Joint Protection Program means a Coverage Program offered by FRMS, separate and distinct from other Coverage Programs, wherein Members shall jointly pool their losses and claims, jointly purchase excess or re-insurance and administrative and other services including claims adjusting, data processing, risk management consulting and brokerage, loss prevention, legal, accounting and auditing and related services.

Joint Protection Program or “Program” shall mean the operation of the Authority under which the Member Agencies are protected against designated losses, through pooling of self-insured funds, joint purchase of commercial insurance, or any combination as determined by the Board.
