When there is a goal of return to parent or permanent relative placement, have and follow a written policy requiring the Provider to not only involve the child’s family in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the child’s Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) but to ensure the process is youth guided and family driven to more actively engage the child and the child’s family in the child’s treatment, unless directed otherwise by the Cabinet social service worker.
