IPDF definition

IPDF means the Indigenous Peoples Development Framework prepared in accordance with ADB’s Policy on Indigenous Peoples (1998) and attached to Schedule 5 to the FFA;
IPDF means the Indigenous Peoples Development Framework as agreed between the Borrower, State and ADB and attached to the FFA;
IPDF means the Indigenous Peoples’ Development Framework prepared for the Project;

Examples of IPDF in a sentence

  • In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the ESMF, RPF, IPDF, EMP, ESIA, RAP or IPP, as the case may be, and those of this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail.

  • The EA shall ensure that if any impact is identified during planning, design, or implementation of any Subproject on indigenous peoples, that an IPDP or integration of specific actions for the indigenous people in the RP is prepared in accordance with ADB’s Policy on Indigenous People (1998) and the IPDF and that the same is further (i) approved by ADB before award of related civil works contract, and (ii) implemented before commencement of related civil works contract.

  • The Project Implementing Entity shall not suspend, amend, abrogate, waive or otherwise modify, whether in whole or in part, any of the provisions of the ESMF, RPF and IPDF for Part B.1 (c) of the Project without the prior written agreement of the Association.

  • The Recipient shall ensure, at all times during Project implementation, that: (i) the Project, including the implementation of IPs and PPs, is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the ESMF, including those of the IPDF and VCDF, and all plans prepared thereunder or deriving therefrom; and (ii) no action is taken which would prevent or interfere with such implementation.

  • The Project Implementing Entity shall ensure that Parts B.1 (c) and B.2 of the Project are implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental and the Social Management Framework (ESMF), the Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF) and Indigenous Peoples Development Framework (IPDF).


More Definitions of IPDF

IPDF means Indigenous People’s Development Framework, a document of the Rcipient incorporated into the ESMF, which sets forth actions and measures to ensure that the collective identity of indigenous peoples does not: (i) constitute a barrier for accessing Project benefits; or (ii) contribute to any potential adverse impacts caused by the Project, as referred to in Section I.B.1(vi).of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, as such framework may be amended from time to time only with the prior agreement of the Association.
IPDF means the Recipient’s Indigenous Peoples Development Framework for the Project dated May 3, 2007, as may be amended from time to time with the prior agreement of the Association.
IPDF means the Borrower’s indigenous peoples development framework for the Project, dated June 24, 2009, as such framework may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Bank.
IPDF means the Borrower’s Indigenous Peoples’ Development Framework for the Project referred to in Section I.1(a)(v) of Schedule 2 to this Agreement.
IPDF means the Borrower’s indigenous people’s policy framework for the Project submitted to the Association on May 17, 2005, as may be amended from time to time with the prior approval of the Association;
IPDF means the Indigenous Peoples Development Framework attached as Supplementary Appendix L to the RRP;
IPDF means the Indigenous Peoples Development Framework prepared for the Project and approved by the Borrower on 14 January 2010;
