International Event definition

International Event means an event or competition where the International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee, an International Federation, a major event organisation or another international sporting organisation is the ruling body for the event or competition or appoints technical officials for the event or competition;

International Event means the specified tournament named in the Policy. “IOC” means International Olympic Committee.

International Event means a hockey tournament, competition or match organised or sanctioned by the FIH that is contested by national representative teams.

Examples of International Event in a sentence

• More than one Athlete or other Person affiliated with that organization or body commits an anti-doping rule violation during an International Event.

• More than one Athlete or other Person from the sporting administration body commits an anti-doping rule violation during an International Event.

• More than one Athlete or other Person from a National Federation commits an Anti-Doping Rule violation during an International Event.

• Events organised by a non-Signatory International Event organisation or a non-Signatory national-level event organisation without triggering the Consequences set forth in Article 10.12.3. The term ’activity’ also includes, for example, administrative activities, such as serving as an official, director, officer, employee, or volunteer of the organisation described in this Article.

• Any competitive results obtained in violation of this Article 5.6.1 shall be Disqualified unless the Athlete can establish that he or she could not have reasonably known that this was an International Event or a National Event.

More Definitions of International Event

International Event means an international competition, event or tournament in the sport of bowls in which two or more countries participate but excluding a World Bowls Event.

International Event means the specified tournament named in the Policy.

International Event means the tournaments named in the Policy and/or any other representative WA Outdoor tournament in 2018.
