Internal Purposes means Customer’s use within its business (or if You are an individual, use as a consumer), to process and manage shipments tendered to UPSI for Your sole benefit, and not for the benefit of others. For clarity, Internal Purposes does not include the resale, distribution, redistribution or granting access to UPS Technology or Information to third parties, nor does it include use of any UPS Technology or Information when performing services as a Service Provider, unless UPS has allowed such use in a separate writing (e.g., a Data Exchange Order Form), or use of any UPS Technology or Information to provide transportation or logistics services to a third party. LID means a designation assigned to a physical location.

Internal Purposes means management of Devices located within Licensee’s own systems.

Examples of Internal Purposes in a sentence

• This authorization includes use of (A) Developer Account Information to manifest (a) UPS shipments by Developer for its own Internal Purposes and (b) to direct all billing for charges incurred in connection with Program Shipments to be invoiced to Developer, and (B) a given Program Shipper’s Account Information to manifest Program Shipments for such Shipper’s own Internal Purposes.

• Notwithstanding the foregoing, Developer may retain and use the Shipping Information described in the preceding sentence for up to three (3) years solely for Developer’s audit and legal or regulatory Internal Purposes.

• Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, Developer is authorized to use Developer’s Account Information as the “bill to” or “third-party bill” criteria to initiate shipments on behalf of Program Shippers consistently with the requirements of the parties’ Program Agreement and (i) solely in response to a Program Shipper’s request made through an Application for Program Shipping Services; and (iii) where such Program Shipper is shipping such package for its Internal Purposes.

• Developer must not enable or permit any third party (including but not limited to a distributor, provider, channel partner, or similar) or any Shipper or user of its Application or Interfaces acting other than for its Internal Purposes to (i) act as an intermediary between the Application and the ultimate shipper utilizing UPS Shipping Services under this Agreement, or (ii) register or extend registration to become a Program Shipper to such third party’s end users, licensees, or customers.

• For clarity, except as required to issue Shipper Security Elements and as set forth below in Section 2(c)(iii)(C), in no instance may Developer use the Developer Security Elements or any Developer Account Information, to initiate shipments for any Person other than Developer or its Affiliates for their own Internal Purposes.

More Definitions of Internal Purposes

Internal Purposes means management of applications located within Licensee’s own systems.

Internal Purposes for Vulnerability Intelligence Manager means assisting with the identification, management and/or remediation of vulnerabilities in applications deployed or to be deployed within Licensee’s own systems.

Internal Purposes means scanning and analyzing applications located within Licensee’s (including Affiliates) own systems.

Internal Purposes means the use of the Content where Licensee is the primary beneficiary, as further defined in an Order. License Level means the allowed level of usage of the Content licensed to Licensee in an Order.

Licensee Site means any location owned or leased solely by Licensee or an Affiliate or that portion of any shared space, such as a shared data center, attributable solely to Licensee or such Affiliate, or in the instance of an employee working remotely, that location from which such employee is working while using Licensee or Affiliate-provided equipment on which the Software may be installed. Software means the object code form of software products (including any associated database content provided with or embedded within the software products) licensed to Licensee for installation at a Licensee Site as specified in an applicable Order, including any Updates to the Software. Except as otherwise expressly set forth herein or in an applicable Order, Software does not include source code.

Internal Purposes means the cataloging, reporting and management of Licensee’s hardware and software applications.
