Interconnection Facilities Study definition

Interconnection Facilities Study. Agreement shall mean the form of agreement contained in Appendix 4 of the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures for conducting the Interconnection Facilities Study. Interconnection Feasibility Study shall mean a preliminary evaluation of the system impact and cost of interconnecting the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System, the scope of which is described in Section 30.6 of the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures.
Interconnection Facilities Study. Agreement shall mean the form of agreement contained in Appendix 2 of the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures for conducting the Interconnection Facilities Study. Interconnection Request shall mean a Interconnection Customer’s request, in the form of Appendix 1 to the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures, in accordance with the Tariff, to interconnect a new Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System or to the Distribution System, or to materially increase the capacity of, or make a material modification to the operating characteristics of, an existing Large Generating Facility that is interconnected with the New York State Transmission System or with the Distribution System. Interconnection Study shall mean any of the following studies: the Optional Interconnection Feasibility Study, the, Interconnection System Reliability Impact Study, and the Interconnection Facilities Study described in the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures.
Interconnection Facilities Study means a study conducted by a Public Utility or a third-party consultant retained by the Public Utility or the Applicant that determines the additional Interconnection Facilities and System Upgrades required to interconnect the Small Generator Facility to the Public Utility’s TDS, the cost of the facilities and upgrades, and the time required to complete the interconnection.

Class Year Project shall mean an Eligible Class Year Project with an executed Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study Agreement that thereby becomes one of the group of generation and Class Year Transmission Projects included in any particular Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study (Annual Transmission Reliability Assessment and/or Class Year Deliverability Study), in accordance with the criteria specified in Attachment S and in Attachment Z for including such projects.

Construction completion date can be estimated upon completion of a Large Generator Interconnection Facilities Study Report.

Class Year Start Date shall mean the deadline for Eligible Class Year Projects to enter a Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study, determined in accordance with Section 25.5.9 of Attachment S.


More Definitions of Interconnection Facilities Study

Interconnection Facilities Study means a study conducted by a utility for the customer-generator that determines the additional or upgraded distribution system facilities, the cost of those facilities, and the time schedule required to interconnect the net metering facility to the utility's distribution system.
Interconnection Facilities Study means a study conducted by Manitoba Hydro pursuant to Section 6.2, or Section 7.1.10 or Section 7.2 of this Tariff to determine the work required to effect the physical and electrical connection of the proposed Facility at the Point of Interconnection or to otherwise accommodate an Interconnection Request and to address reliability concerns identified in an Interconnection Evaluation Study.
Interconnection Facilities Study. (“IFS”) shall mean a study conducted by the Study Party, to; (i) determine the necessary facilities, including the Interconnection Facilities identified in the SIS report, and the physical location of such facilities, (ii) the costs associated with installing such facilities, and (iii) the time required to interconnect the Interconnection Customer’s Transmission Line to the Eldorado Transmission System.
Interconnection Facilities Study means the study prepared by the Distribution Authority as the basis for entering into a facilities letter with the Seller for the interconnection of the Seller’s Plant to the Distribution System.
