Inspecting Architect definition

Inspecting Architect means the architect, if any, hired by Lessor to perform inspections of the premises. An Inspecting Architect may only be engaged by Lessor in the event of a default relating to construction of the Improvements under the Development Financing Documents.
Inspecting Architect means AECC, Inc. The Inspecting Architect shall make regular inspections of the construction site, but in no event less than once a month, to confirm that construction of the Improvements is in conformance with the Plans and Specifications. The Inspecting Architect will sign-off on all the draw requests made by the Contractor and provide the documents specified in Section 14.3
Inspecting Architect means an independent architectural or engineering firm employed by the Agent with respect to a Mortgaged Property. The Borrower may submit to the Agent a list of suggested architectural and engineering firms for consideration by the Agent. The Agent shall not, however, be obligated to select or retain an Inspecting Architect from such list.

  • Any inspections made by Inspecting Architect, Title or Lessor are for the sole benefit of Lessor and neither Lessee nor any creditor, tenant or vendee of Lessee shall be entitled to rely on such inspection.

More Definitions of Inspecting Architect

Inspecting Architect means such person or entity as Lender may designate from time to time to inspect the construction of the Improvements and to perform other services with respect thereto on behalf of Lender.

The General Partner shall dismiss the Inspecting Architect for cause if the Inspecting Architect fails to detect, or fails to notify the General Partner and Special Limited Partner within five business days of a draw request, that: (a) the construction and renovation budget is not In-Balance; (b) a change order; (c) any modification to the Plans and Specifications; or (d) any modification to a construction or renovation line item from the approved construction and renovation budget as specified in the Development, Renovation, Construction and Operating Budget Agreement.

"Sub-Contracts" shall mean the contracts between the Contractor and its materialmen and mechanics in the furnishing of labor or materials for the Project. 25. "Title" shall mean Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation issuing the Lessor's fee owner's title insurance policy.
Inspecting Architect means the architectural, engineering or other consultant firm retained by Lender, at Borrower’s cost, to conduct on-site inspections of the work-in-progress related to the Project, and to issue periodic reports to Lender as to progress of construction and adherence to the Construction Plans.
