Initial Investor definition
Initial Investor means, as applicable, (i) the Fairholme Purchasers, (ii) Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P. and the Pershing Square Purchasers, (iii) the Brookfield Purchaser; provided that, solely for the purposes of this definition, in the event the Brookfield Purchaser is not in existence, the Brookfield Purchaser shall be Brookfield Asset Management Inc. or an Affiliate designated by Brookfield Asset Management Inc and (iv) the Blackstone Purchaser.
Initial Investor means any limited partnership or other collective investment vehicle arranged by Doughty Hanson & Co Limited, any wholly-owned direct or indirect subsidiaries of Doughty Hanson & Co Limited and any nominee of, or nominee for any co-investment scheme for employees of subsidiaries of, Doughty Hanson & Co Limited, in each case, other than any portfolio operating company of any of the foregoing.

Examples of Initial Investor in a sentence
At any time and from time to time after the Closing, (i) Investors holding a majority-in-interest of the Exchange Investor Registrable Securities then issued and outstanding, or (ii) Investors holding a majority-in-interest of the Initial Investor Registrable Securities, may make a written demand for registration under the Securities Act of all or part of their Registrable Securities (a “Demand Registration”).
