Influence definition
Influence means to manage, direct, mandate, or give a reward or benefit to a person. Influence does not mean to respond to a request for information.
Influence for the purpose of this definition includes the holding of 15% or more of the shares or interests or the possession of voting power in or in relation to any person referred to (1 (a)) above;
Influence or "influencing" means contacting a City elected or appointed official or employee, either directly or indirectly, for the purpose of promoting, supporting, modifying, opposing, causing the delay or abandonment of conduct, or otherwise intentionally affecting the official actions.
