Incidental sign definition
Incidental sign means an on premises sign containing an informational message that has a purpose incidentally related to the use or occupancy of the premises and is intended to assist the public with respect to the location of business facilities or provides courtesy or directive information, but is not an advertisement;
Incidental sign means a small sign, emblem, or decal informing the public of goods, facilities or services available on the premises (e.g., a credit card sign or a sign indicating hours of business).

Incidental sign means small signs, less than two square feet in surface area, of a noncommercial nature, intended primarily for the convenience of the public. Included are signs designating restrooms, address numbers, hours of operation, entrances to buildings, directions, help wanted, public telephone, etc. Also included in this group of signs are those designed to guide vehicular traffic to an area or place on the premises of a business, building or development by means of a directory designating names and addresses only.

No SIGN with a commercial message legible from a position off the LOT it is on shall be considered incidental.
