Definition of IFC Performance Standards


IFC Performance Standards means the IFC performance standards on social and environmental sustainability (including the technical reference documents known as World Bank Group Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines), which can be downloaded from the IFC website (http://www.ifc.org/wps/wcm/connect/115482804a0255db96fbffd1a5d13d27/PS_English_2012_ Full-Document.pdf?MOD=AJPERES and http://www.ifc.org/ehsguidelines).


IFC Performance Standards means the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability dated January 1, 2012 available at http://www.ifc.org/performancestandards. 14

IFC Performance Standards means those performance standards published by IFC on its website (www.ifc.org) which define clients’ roles and responsibilities for managing their projects, including requirements to disclose information.

MCA-Zambia or the appropriate Government entity is in compliance with the requirements of, and is implementing, any applicable ESIA, ESMP, HSMP or RAP, as appropriate, consistent with the MCC Environmental Guidelines, the IFC Performance Standards, the MCC Gender Policy and the MCC Gender Integration Guidelines and Operational Procedures.

Minerva’s environmental and social action plan does not require implementation of relevant IFC Performance Standards for all its investments in Uruguay or Paraguay until December 2015.

IFC Performance Standards means the (a) International Finance Corporation’s Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability (January 1, 2012), including the Guidelines referenced therein, known as the World Bank Group Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines, in particular: (i) the World Bank Group Environmental, Health, and Safety General Guidelines (April 30, 2007), (ii) the World Bank Group Environmental, Health and Safety Industry Sector Guidelines for Electric Power Transmission and Distribution (April 30, 2007) and (iii) the World Bank Group Environmental, Health, and Safety Guidelines for Construction Materials Extraction (April 30, 2007) and (b) the International Finance Corporation’s Guidance Notes on the Performance Standards for Environmental and Social Sustainability (January 1, 2012).

IFC Performance Standards means the International Finance Corporation (IFC) 2012 Performance Standards on Social and Environmental Sustainability as attached hereto as Schedule E including the technical reference documents known as World Bank Group Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Guidelines as attached hereto as Schedule F.

IFC Performance Standards means the International Finance Corporation's Performance Standards on Social and Environmental Sustainability dated 1 January 2012, together with the project related IFC Environmental Health and Safety Guidelines in force at the Signing Date.

IFC Performance Standards means the environmental and social policies providing guidance on matters relevant to the IFC’s operations, and any other environmental standards, requirements and guidelines published by the IFC, relevant and applicable to the Projects from time to time.
