The Ontario Power Authority has developed the Renewable Energy Feed-In Tariff (FIT) Program for the Province to encourage and promote greater use of renewable energy sources including wind, waterpower, renewable biomass, bio-gas, bio-fuel, landfill gas and solar for electricity generating projects that can be connected to a host facility, a distribution system or the IESO-Controlled Grid, in Ontario.
The Facility/facilities must be connected to the IESO-Controlled Grid or a Distribution System.
