Hurdle Rate definition
Hurdle Rate means the minimum annual rate of return over the Net Asset Value at launch, or the beginning of the relevant Performance Period, as applicable, that must be achieved before an Equalisation Performance Fee is applied (details of which are set out in the section headed “Unit Class Information” in the Supplement for the relevant Fund where applicable). This rate is accrued at each Valuation Point.
Hurdle Rate means, with respect to any fiscal quarter, the greater of (i) 9% and (ii) 3% plus the Ten-Year U.S. Treasury Rate for such fiscal quarter.
Hurdle Rate means the minimum annual rate of return that must be achieved before a Non-Equalisation Performance Fee is applied (details of which are set out in the section headed “Unit Class Information” in the Supplement for the relevant Fund where applicable). The Hurdle Rate will be adjusted for any distributions in the case of Unit Classes that pay periodic and/or ad-hoc distributions. This rate is accrued daily.
Examples of Hurdle Rate in a sentence
Once Core Earnings in a Performance Measurement Periods exceeds the Hurdle Rate, the Adviser shall be entitled to a “catch-up” fee equal to the amount of Core Earnings in excess of the Hurdle Rate, until Core Earnings for the applicable Performance Measurement Period exceeds a percentage of average Adjusted Capital equal to the Hurdle Rate divided by 0.875 (or 1 minus 0.125) for the applicable Performance Measurement Period.
As a result, the Adviser does not earn a Performance Fee for any calendar quarter until Core Earnings for the applicable Performance Measurement Period exceeds the Hurdle Rate.
More Definitions of Hurdle Rate
Hurdle Rate means a Total Return per Unit of 6%, as determined on the first business day of each fiscal year and applicable for the entire fiscal year;

Hurdle Rate means a benchmark as defined by Management Company to measure the performance of the fund for calculating performance fee.
