Home Leave definition

Home Leave means leave granted to a staff member every two years to enable him or her and eligible dependents visit their home country or where circumstances do not permit, any other approved destination at the expense of the Union.

More Definitions of Home Leave

Home Leave means time off-work granted to eligible officials, special appointees, staff members and eligible dependents every two years of qualifying service to enable them to visit their home country or any other approved destination at the expense of the Union as long as the cost does not exceed that of the home country.

Reimbursement will be made via an expense report with appropriate receipts. • Education: Should your child not be able to attend a government-provided school provided in your child’s native language at the host location comparable to the one available in the area of France, and should you elect to register your child in a targeted school identified by the Company for your child as per the qualifying criteria described in the International Transfer Policy for permanent transfers regarding the Education support, the Company shall pay the tuition fees for the duration of your assignment in the US.
