HFA definition

HFA means the Health Facilities Act (Alberta). “HIA” means the Health Information Act (Alberta).
HFA means a housing finance agency created by any of the States of the United States or any possession, territory or commonwealth of the United States, or any political subdivision thereof.
HFA means the Humberside Fire Authority. Where there is reference to the HFA determining matters under these Rules, then the Policy and Executive Committee shall be authorised to determine such matters provided that the matter falls within the functions set out in Article 6 and is not specifically reserved to the HFA under Article 4. Contracts above the EU threshold set out under Rule 14 shall be awarded by the Authority (unless fully under the delegated authority of a committee). The Authority may delegate the power to award a particular contract to the Chief Fire Officer & Chief Executive. All other contracts under these Rules shall be awarded by the Chief Fire Officer & Chief Executive unless the contract falls under a particular delegated responsibility of a committee.

Examples of HFA in a sentence

  • Either the HFA or the County may terminate this Agreement without cause by giving at least thirty (30) calendar days written notice to the other party.

  • The address listed for the County’s Housing Services Division will serve as the physical address for the HFA.

  • The HFA, in mutual agreement with the County, will decide the HFA programs that will be administered by the County no later than June 1 prior to the start of each fiscal year.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Agreement, (A) for purposes of Section 4(G) thereof, (i) annual audited financial statements shall be due no later than one hundred eighty (180) days after the end of IHDA’s fiscal year, and (ii) quarterly financial statements shall be due no later than forty-five (45) days after the end of each quarter commencing with the first full quarter ending after the Effective Date; provided that for any quarter IHDA does not prepare unaudited financial statements for its internal use, or to be sent to a third party, such quarterly unaudited financial statement shall not be required and instead IHDA shall provide to Treasury, no later than forty- five (45) days after the end of each quarter commencing with the first full quarter ending after the Effective Date, summary expenses by category [e.g., in-take partners, IHDA specific expenses (e.g. salaries)], and last business day of the quarter’s Depository Account bank statement, which information will allow Treasury to review and confirm the funds used for the Services and Permitted Expenses; (B) for purposes of Section 7 thereof, the powers and authority of IHDA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
