Health and Welfare Plans definition

Health and Welfare Plans means the health and welfare plans to be established by Water Pik pursuant to Section 2.2 that correspond to the respective ATI Health and Welfare Plans.
Health and Welfare Plans means any plan, fund or program which was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical, dental, surgical or hospital care or benefits, or benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death or unemployment, or vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA. When immediately preceded by “IAC,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an IAC Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “TM,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is a TM Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “Interval,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an Interval Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “HSN,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an HSN Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “Tree,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is a Tree Benefit Plan.

  • The Employer shall continue to make payments to Health and Welfare Plans, in the same manner as if the employee were not absent where the employee elects to pay his or her share of the cost of the plans.

More Definitions of Health and Welfare Plans

Health and Welfare Plans means any plan, fund or program which was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including PPO, EPO and HDHP coverages as well as retirement medical savings accounts and retiree medical), dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life, accidental death and disability, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death or unemployment, or vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA. When immediately preceded by “HP,” Health and Welfare Plan means any Health and Welfare Plan sponsored, maintained or contributed to by HP or an HPI Entity or any Health and Welfare Plan with respect to which HP or an HPI Entity is a party. When immediately preceded by “Enterprise,” Health and Welfare Plan means any Health and Welfare Plan sponsored, maintained or contributed to by Enterprise or any Enterprise Entity or any Health and Welfare Plan with respect to which Enterprise or an Enterprise Entity is a party.
Health and Welfare Plans. Health and Welfare Plans," when immediately preceded by "REI," means the REI Health Plans, the REI Flexible Benefits Plan, and the health and welfare plans listed on Schedule 1.27 established and maintained by REI for the benefit of employees and retirees of any member of the REI Group, and such other welfare plans or programs as may apply to such employees and retirees as of the Distribution Date. When immediately preceded by "Resources," "Health and Welfare Plans" means the Resources Health Plans, the Resources Flexible Benefits Plan, and the health and welfare plans to be established by Resources pursuant to Section 2.03 and Article VI that correspond to the respective REI Health and Welfare Plans.
Health and Welfare Plans means the benefit plans, programs, and policies (including the Reimbursement Plans) corresponding to those plans, programs, and policies sponsored by NSI as of the Distribution Date, including those plans, programs, and policies listed in Appendix C to this Agreement which will be sponsored by a member of the Spinco Group Immediately after the Distribution Date. Health and Welfare Plans means, when immediately preceded by “Dover,” the health and welfare plans established and sponsored by any member of the Dover Group, and when immediately preceded by “Apergy,” the health and welfare plans exclusively sponsored and maintained by the Apergy Group prior to or after the applicable Plan Separation Date, in each case excluding any governmental plans.
