Health and Welfare Plans definition

Health and Welfare Plans means any plan, fund or program which was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including PPO, EPO and HDHP coverages), dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and AD&D, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death or unemployment, or vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.
Health and Welfare Plans is defined in Section 4.3(d).

Examples of Health and Welfare Plans in a sentence

  • The Employer shall continue to make payments to Health and Welfare Plans, in the same manner as if the employee were not absent where the employee elects to pay his or her share of the cost of the plans.

  • This benefit applies only in situations where the benefits are not covered under Teamsters Health and Welfare Plans or other benefits.

Health and Welfare Plans means any plan, fund or program which was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including PPO, EPO and HDHP coverages), mental health, dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and AD&D, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, cancer care, health benefits advocate or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death or unemployment, or vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.
Health and Welfare Plans means, when immediately preceded by “Dover,” the health and welfare plans established and sponsored by any member of the Dover Group, and when immediately preceded by “Apergy,” the health and welfare plans exclusively sponsored and maintained by the Apergy Group prior to or after the applicable Plan Separation Date, in each case excluding any governmental plans.

When immediately preceded by “Interval,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an Interval Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “HSN,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an HSN Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “Tree,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is a Tree Benefit Plan.
Health and Welfare Plans means the health and welfare plans to be established by Water Pik pursuant to Section 2.2 that correspond to the respective ATI Health and Welfare Plans.
Health and Welfare Plans means the Roxio Health Plans, the Roxio Code Section 125/Flexible Spending Plan (if applicable) (the "Roxio 125 Plan"), established and maintained by Roxio for the benefit of eligible employees of Roxio, and such other welfare plans or programs that Roxio may establish.
