It is an exception to this section if a person: carries in a park a concealed handgun, or a handgun in a shoulder or belt holster, or any other firearm, and is not prohibited from doing so under applicable Federal and State law, including Texas Penal Code Chapter 46 and Texas Government Code Ch. 411 Sub Chapter H (Handgun Licensing Law).
