Habitual definition

Habitual means any act of fault or misconduct or omission committed by a person or group for a minimum of three times and within a period of 3 (three) months.
Habitual means any act which has been repeated for more than twice.
Habitual truant means a child under the age of 16 years who is absent from attendance at school without lawful excuse for seven school days if the child is in elementary school or for one or more periods on seven school days if the child is in middle school or junior high school. The names of truant children must be referred to the designated public school official.

  • Habitual use of intoxicating beverages to excess or the use of narcotics.

  • Habitual absenteeism or tardiness may be cause for discipline up to and including discharge.
