Growth PRIDES definition

Growth PRIDES means, following the substitution of one or more Treasury Securities for Preferred Securities or for the Applicable Ownership Interest of the Treasury Portfolio, as the case may be, as collateral to secure a holder's obligations under a Purchase Contract, the collective rights and obligations of a holder of a Growth PRIDES Certificate in respect of such Treasury Securities, subject in each case to the Pledge thereof, and the related Purchase Contract.

Growth PRIDES means the collective rights and obligations of a Holder of a Growth PRIDES Certificate in respect of the Treasury Securities, subject to the Pledge thereof, and the related Purchase Contract.

Growth PRIDES means the collective rights and obligations of a holder of a Growth PRIDES Certificate in respect of a 1/40th undivided beneficial interest in a Treasury Security, subject in each case to the Pledge thereof, and the related Purchase Contract.

Examples of Growth PRIDES in a sentence

• All Certificates issued upon any registration of transfer or exchange of a Certificate shall evidence the ownership of the same number of Income PRIDES or Growth PRIDES, as the case may be, and be entitled to the same benefits and subject to the same obligations, under this Agreement as the Income PRIDES or Growth PRIDES, as the case may be, evidenced by the Certificate surrendered upon such registration of transfer or exchange.

• At the option of the Holder, Certificates may be exchanged for other Certificates, of any authorized denominations and evidencing a like number of Income PRIDES or Growth PRIDES, as the case may be, upon surrender of the Certificates to be exchanged at the Corporate Trust Office.

• Until so exchanged, the temporary Certificates shall in all respects evidence the same benefits and the same obligations with respect to the Income PRIDES or Growth PRIDES, as the case may be, evidenced thereby as definitive Certificates.

• If any mutilated Certificate is surrendered to the Agent, the Company shall execute and deliver to the Agent, and the Agent shall authenticate, execute on behalf of the Holder, and deliver in exchange therefor, a new Certificate at the cost of the Holder, evidencing the same number of Income PRIDES or Growth PRIDES, as the case may be, and bearing a Certificate number not contemporaneously outstanding.

• Upon surrender for cancellation of any one or more temporary Certificates, the Company shall execute and deliver to the Agent, and the Agent shall authenticate, execute on behalf of the Holder, and deliver in exchange therefor, one or more definitive Certificates of like tenor and denominations and evidencing a like number of Income PRIDES or Growth PRIDES, as the case may be, as the temporary Certificate or Certificates so surrendered.
