Gross Metering or “GM” means a mechanism whereby the total energy generated from the rooftop solar and the total energy consumed by the Prosumer are accounted separately through appropriate metering arrangements, and for the billing purpose the total energy consumed by the Prosumer is accounted at the applicable retail tariff and total energy generated by the rooftop solar is accounted for as feed-in tariff to be determined by the Commission from time to time.
