  • Section 401 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (FWPCA) (33 U.S.C.A. § 1341) requires the Common- wealth to certify that the involved projects will not violate the sections 301—303, 306 and 307 of the FWPCA (33U.S.C.A. §§ 1311—1313, 1316 and 1317) as well as relevant State requirements.
