Fund definition

Fund means any Person (other than a natural person) that is (or will be) engaged in making, purchasing, holding or otherwise investing in commercial loans and similar extensions of credit in the ordinary course of its business.
Fund includes the fund’s principal underwriter and transfer agent. The term does not include any “excepted funds” as defined in SEC Rule 22c-2(b) under the Investment Company Act of 1940.*
Fund has the meaning set forth in the preamble to this Agreement.

  • The Trustee shall not treat any part of the sum as asset of the Trust (including, without limitation, for purposes of the calculation of the Trust Fund Evaluation pursuant to Section 5.01), unless and until the sum is applied to Trust liabilities without reimbursement from other Trust assets and in such event the Trustee shall treat only the unreimbursed amount as an asset of the Trust Fund.

  • The termination of this Agreement with respect to any one Fund will not cause its automatic termination with respect to any other Fund.

Fund means (i) each investment company registered under the 1940 Act (and any series or portfolios of such company) for which an Adviser serves as an investment adviser (as defined in § 2(a)(20) of the 1940 Act or an Underwriter serves as a principal underwriter (as defined in §§ 2(a)(29) and (40) of the 1940 Act) and (ii) any other investment account or portfolio over which an Adviser exercises investment discretion (whether pursuant to a direct advisory agreement, through a managed account or "wrap fee" program, or otherwise), and (iii) any investment adviser, broker, dealer, bank, or other financial institution to which Federated Hermes provides non-discretionary investment advisory services.
Fund refers to either (i) an individual portfolio of such a series company or (ii) an investment company that is not organized as a series company, and the term “Funds” refers to all such portfolios and investment companies, collectively;
