Full-time Equivalency definition

Full-time Equivalency or “FTE” refers to a comparison in relation to a Member working full-time where full-time equals 1 FTE;
Full-time Equivalency. (FTE) means the percentage of time for which a position is established, with a full‐time position working 1,950 hours per year being 1.00 FTE.
Full-time Equivalency and “full-time equivalent” means for a nonexempt employee, the number of hours authorized by the Division of Human Resource Management for the nonexempt employee’s position, divided by the number of base hours established for the position’s pay class designation. For an exempt classified employee or an exempt unclassified employee, the number of days authorized by the Division of Human Resource Management for the employee’s position, divided by the number of base days established for the position’s pay class designation.
