FRU definition
FRU means field replaceable unit manufactured by Paramit or other 3rd party suppliers that is considered a subsystem of the Product that can be purchased separately by Customer.
FRU means a Product, Product component, Product subassembly, Product Documentation, Supplier Software, or other Product Part used to service a Customer system.

More Definitions of FRU
FRU. (Section 6.2) shall mean any part or component of Products, Devices or Upgrades supplied by StorageTek that are designed to be replaceable in the field.

In the event this SOW is issued under a Non-Technical Services Agreement, "Parts" will be synonymous with "Deliverable". "Repair" or "Repaired" means all required repair activity including: disassembly, failure analysis, testing, component recovery, rework, warranty process, packaging, and/or final testing in accordance with this SOW or relevant WA. "Turn Around Time" or "TAT" means the elapsed time from the date of receipt acknowledgement of a FRU arriving at Supplier's from Buyer until shipment notice back to Buyer. "Yield" means the relationship between the AFR sent to Supplier for Repair and the returned Repaired Parts to Buyer.

FRU means "Field Replaceable Unit". It is an Egenera Hardware component designed for replacement by Unisys. It requires technical expertise to replace. This may include training, detailed work instructions and diagnostic and mechanical tools "INSTALLATION SERVICES" means "Basic Set-Up" (setting up and powering up the Egenera Hardware, and booting up the operating system of the Egenera Hardware) as more fully described in EXHIBIT A-5 hereto, which Unisys agrees to provide on the specified Products of a designated Customer.
