Free Issue Material definition

Free Issue Material means Tooling, samples, prototypes, goods, drawings, designs, patterns and other items which the Buyer issues to the Seller free of charge for use by the Seller in connection with the Contract, or which the Buyer permits the Seller to use in connection with the Contract.

  • We exclude any liability, and type of guaran- tee or warranty and any claim to damages for defective goods for the event that faulty Free Issue Material has been incorporated into such goods in good faith, i.e. the faulty quality of the Free Issue Material has only been discovered after the fulfilment of our contractual obliga- tions.

  • For defective goods made out of or containing flawless Free Issue Material, paragraph 1 of this Sec- tion 12 applies.

  • Suppliers of Free Issue Material are required to make available to the Company in writing adequate information relating to the results of any relevant tests carried out on or in connection with the material supplied to the Company.
