Floor Area, Gross means the sum of the floor areas for all stories of a building as defined herein.
Floor Area, Gross means, in the case of a building or structure, the aggregate of the area of each storey or part of a storey above ground, measured between the exterior faces of exterior walls in the case of a detached building, structure, or in the case of an attached building or structure measured from the centre line of a common wall, at the level of each storey, exclusive, however, of any part of the building or structure which is used for a private garage, porch, veranda or sun room. Where a cellar is designed to be used in conjunction with the commercial or industrial function of the building, the cellar floor area shall be included in the gross floor area.

Floor Area, Gross means the total floor area in a principal building or structure measured between the exterior faces of the exterior walls at the level of each storey below, at and above grade, excluding the area used for off-street loading, parking, mechanical equipment, stairways or shafts.
