Fire Lane definition

Fire Lane means a part of a public or private parking lot or private driveway or private road which is designated as a fire lane and designed to provide access for fire trucks to any building or location and which lanes meet the following minimum specifications:
Fire Lane means that area designated by signs or markings as a fire lane on public or private property.
Fire Lane means that portion of an access roadway reserved for emergency vehicles and the conduct of firefighting or rescue operations, or as designated by the fire department, and posted in accordance with California Vehicle Code Section 22500.1.

  • Where required by the fire code official, fire apparatus access roads shall be designated as Fire Lane with red curbing and appropriate signage.


More Definitions of Fire Lane
