Financial Establishment definition

Financial Establishment means any organization that is authorized to do business under state or federal law and that holds a demand deposit, savings deposit, or other asset account belong- ing to an individual.
Financial Establishment means any person or a group of individuals accepting deposit under any scheme or arrangement or in any other manner but does not include a corporation or a co-operative society owned or controlled by any State Government or the Central Government or a banking company as defined under clause (c) of section 5 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (Central Act X of 1949);
Financial Establishment means the use of land for the primary purpose of providing finance, investing money, and providing services to lenders, borrowers and investors on a direct and regular basis;

  • Establishment means a single physical location where business is conducted or where services or industrial operations are performed. (For example: A factory, mill, store, hotel, restaurant, movie theatre, farm, ranch, bank, sales office, warehouse, central administrative office or governmental agency or subdivision thereof.) Where employees do not usually work at, or report to, a single establishment, such as harbor workers, traveling salespersons, technicians, engineers, and similar personnel, such notice or notices shall be posted at the location from which the employees operate to carry out their activities. In all cases, such notice or notices shall be posted in accordance with the requirements of subrule 3.1(1).

  • Financial exploitation means a breach of a fiduciary duty by an actor’s unauthorized expenditure of funds entrusted to the actor for the benefit of the vulnerable adult or by an actor’s failure to provide food, clothing, shelter, health care, therapeutic conduct or supervision, the failure of which results or is likely to result in detriment to the vulnerable adult. Financial exploitation also includes: the willful use, withholding or disposal of funds or property of a vulnerable adult; the obtaining of services for wrongful profit or advantage which results in detriment to the vulnerable adult; the acquisition of a vulnerable adult’s funds or property through undue influence, harassment, duress, deception or fraud; and the use of force, coercion, or enticement to cause a vulnerable adult to perform services against the vulnerable adult’s will for the profit or advantage of another.
